Veronica Ann O. Benigno

Ms. Benigno is an associate whose practice centers on general civil litigation.

Ms. Benigno attended University of California, Davis, King Hall School of Law. During law school, Ms. Benigno gained invaluable state court and federal court experience as an extern for Judge Ronald Evans Quidachay at the Law and Motion, Writs and Receivers Department of the San Francisco Superior Court; as a fellow/summer associate in the litigation practice group at Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman LLP (formerly, Pillsbury Winthrop LLP); and as an intern at the Employment, Regulations and Administration Section of the Office of the California Attorney General. She also developed strong client advocacy skills while working as an Employment Clinic Coordinator at the Voluntary Legal Services Program of Northern California in Sacramento, California.

Prior to joining Bowles & Verna, Ms. Benigno was a judicial clerk to the Honorable Albert M. Rosenblatt of the New York State Court of Appeals. She also clerked as a Central Staff attorney in Albany, New York working on motions for leave to appeal, sua sponte dismissals (SSDs) and sua sponte merits (SSMs) for all seven Judges of the New York State Court of Appeals.

Ms. Benigno is admitted to practice law in California and New York.
