Thomas E. Marrs is a 2007 cum laude graduate of the University of San Francisco School of Law and a 2002 graduate of the University of California at Davis. While in law school, Mr. Marrs participated in the Giles Sutherland Rich Moot Court Competition and advanced from the western regional division to the national finals in Washington D.C. Mr. Marrs also interned at the San Francisco City Attorney’s Office during law school. After clerking for Bowles & Verna during the summer of 2006, Mr. Marrs accepted a full time associate position and has been with the firm since receiving his Juris Doctorate in 2007.

Mr. Marrs is an associate whose practice centers on general civil litigation. Mr. Marrs is a member of the American Bar Association and the Contra Costa County Bar Association.

Thomas Marrs grew up in Livermore, California, where he attended Granada High School. Mr. Marrs received a Bachelor of Science in Genetics from the University of California at Davis. While in college Mr. Marrs coached a youth basketball team and was a member of Theta Chi Fraternity. After college and prior to law school, Mr. Marrs worked in the Pharmaceutical/Biotechnology industry for two years.
